For his third commission at Art Bac! IV Edition (CCCB, Barcelona), Dimitris employed the idea of contemporary icons to articulate a spiritual journey from darkness into light. The paintings were activated through a live performance in which each Saint embodied its essence through movement, before being exhibited individually for an extended period. The Saints Art Project merged painting, performance, and experimentation to create an immersive, interactive experience that audiences described as deeply affecting.
