Faceless Triptych

The Faceless Triptych is a three-part investigation into how identity is continually shaped through the relationship between circumstance, subject and object. Each painting explores one of these conditions, together proposing that identity is not fixed but continually produced through perception, experience and representation. The recurring cracking surface evokes the fragility of selfhood while suggesting that transformation is not an exception but an inherent condition of both the body and the image. Through Figurative Liquid Topography, the triptych positions painting as a site of enquiry in which representation remains fluid, incomplete and continually open to becoming.
