Fame (I'm Gonna Live Forever), the first work in the Faceless Triptych, represents circumstance. The faceless figure reflects the fleeting nature of recognition and the shifting conditions through which identity is constructed. The cracking surface evokes the fragility of reputation, memory and self-image, suggesting that the circumstances through which we define ourselves are never permanent. The work introduces the central question that unfolds across the triptych: what remains when the circumstances that define us begin to disappear?
